The 2021 Get Moving Challenge is a free 6-week challenge to increase physical activity. The challenge is open to people of all ages and fitness levels. One may participate as an individual or on a team. The primary purpose of the team is to support and encourage each other. This year, we do not encourage group gatherings due to the pandemic.
Because the COVID 19 pandemic has had negative physical and mental effects on many of us, our focus this year is on recovery. We hope we can help you to refocus on your overall health and well-being by increasing your physical activity and looking at other ways to decrease stress and improve on eating habits and other lifestyle factors.
As in previous years, prizes, which are donated by community businesses, will be awarded each week in a drawing from among those who submit their minutes of exercise. Everyone who completes the challenge receives a free Get Moving t-shirt, thanks to local business sponsors.

You may also print the Get Moving registration form and return it to McDowell Wellness Center.
Get Moving packets with instructions, log and other information will be available for download and pickup at the beginning of April.
